Visiting Dublin for Eight Days

Filed under: Car Rental - 08 Dec 2008

Five months ago, my boyfriend and I took a trip to Dublin for eight days. My boyfriend and I had been together for exactly eighteen months, and although I wasn’t expecting anything from him (because just being with him is a gift in itself), he completely surprised me by arranging for us to take this trip to Dublin. I had mentioned quite awhile earlier that I thought it would be fun to visit Dublin, so you can imagine that I was very happy when I found out we were going together.

We had a whole lot of fun during our eight day trip to Dublin. Because we were there for a full eight days, we had plenty of time to do quite a bit and truly enjoy ourselves. I know we still would have had fun if we were only there for three or four days, but being there for over a week really allowed us to experience a lot without trying to cram it all into a window of just a few days.

Overall, I couldn’t have asked for more from our trip to Dublin, which is why I would highly recommend it to anyone who is trying to pick a destination for their next vacation.

My Five Day Trip to Dublin

Filed under: Dublin Car Rental - 25 Nov 2008

At the beginning of this year, I was browsing around online for potential vacation packages when I came across a great deal for a trip to Dublin. I hadn’t really considered taking a trip to Dublin, but after discussing it with my girlfriend, we both decided that we could probably have a lot of fun during a trip to Dublin.

Since the deal was only being offered for a limited time, I went ahead and booked it right away. The deal was for a five day trip to Dublin, and it bundled the flight, hotel room and car hire together at a much lower rate than we could get if we tried to get all three of those things separately.

From the beginning of our trip to Dublin to the very end, we had a wonderful experience. Not only did we get to do a lot of fun things in Dublin, but all of the people who we met there were quite friendly to us. I really believe that the atmosphere that people create for visitors can truly enhance their experience, and our time in Dublin was a perfect example of this.

I Paid Less for Car Rental in Dublin

Four months ago, I took a trip to Dublin. My trip lasted for six days, and I had a wonderful time on every day of my trip. From golfing to relaxing at the spa to touring several beautiful towns in Dublin, my trip is definitely something that I will remember for many years to come.

As I was planning for my trip, one thing I knew that I needed to get done was reserving a rental car. As you saw above, I did a lot during my trip, and I knew even before I arrived that the only way I could fit it all into six days was by having a rental car to use for transportation.

Technically, I could have waited until I arrived in Dublin to get a rental car, but not only would this take up valuable time during my trip, but I knew I would end up paying more for my rental car. Instead of doing this, I just got online and spent a little time looking at different deals on rental cars. It didn’t take me long to come across a really great special, and I booked it directly from my computer.

Finding a Car Rental in Dublin City

Filed under: Dublin Car Rental - 07 Nov 2008

Last summer, I took a vacation to Dublin City. The primary reason I went to Dublin City was to spend time in all of the museums that the city has to offer. Although you may not have ever realized it, Dublin City has a very rich heritage and is full of many different types of museums. Because I was in Dublin City for two weeks, I had an opportunity to visit every one of the museums that the city had to offer. Here is a list of the museums that I got to spend time exploring: Chester Beatty Library, Dublin Writers Museum, GAA Museum, Garda Siochana Museum, The Heraldic Museum, The James Joyce Centre, Kilmainham Gaol, The Ark Multimedia Gallery for Children, The National Library of Ireland, The National Museum of Ireland Archeology and History, and The National Museum of Ireland Decorative Arts and Culture - Collins Barracks.

Because I went to so many different museums, I needed a reliable method of transportation. I ended up getting a car rental, and this turned out to be a very easy (and quite efficient) way to get around Dublin City.

Get a Rental Car at the Dublin Airport from Arugs

If you are planning a trip to Ireland, I can assure you that you are going to have a wonderful time. I went to Dublin three months ago, and although I have been to some wonderful places before, this most recent trip has made its way to the top of my favorites list.

As you are making your travel preparations, one of the tasks you need to address is getting a rental car. Although there are numerous rental car companies throughout the city of Dublin, you can save yourself some time by renting from a company with a location at the Dublin airport. If you are unsure of what company you should rent from at the Dublin airport, I suggest Argus Rent a Car. Because they are an Ireland based company, we had never used them before our trip, but the entire process of getting a rental car from them went extremely smoothly.

Instead of waiting until you actually arrive in Ireland to reserve your rental car, you can visit the Argus website and make your rental car reservation for the Dublin airport today. This will allow you to quickly pick-up your rental car after you land at the Dublin airport.

Rent a Car in Dublin from E-Z Rent a Car

If you are planning a trip to Dublin, I have to admit that I am jealous of you. I went to Dublin two years ago, and it was one of the best trips that I have ever taken. My wife and I spent eight days in Dublin, and enjoyed every minute that we were there. I know it is hard to believe, but when we were in Dublin, we didn’t encounter any problems with our flights, hotel or rental car.

Speaking of our rental car, we rented from a company called E-Z Rent a Car. Prior to going to Dublin, I had never dealt with E-Z Rent a Car before, but because they were offering the best deal when I was looking for a rental car online, I decided to go ahead and rent from them. When we arrived at the Dublin airport, we went directly to their affiliate (County Car Rentals) to pick up our rental car. The car I had reserved was waiting, and we finished all the paperwork in a matter of minutes.

During our time in Dublin, the rental car ran well, and when we returned it at the end of the trip, we didn’t get hit with any surprise charges or fees.

I Got My Rental Car in Dublin from Avis

Filed under: Car Rental - 07 Oct 2008

For my trip to Dublin, I decided to rent a car from Avis. Although I didn’t have any previous experience renting from Avis, most of the reviews I read of them online were fairly positive, so I decided that they were the best option that was available to me.

Overall, I would say that I am happy with the car rental experience Avis provided me while I was in Dublin. When I picked up my car, the service I received was efficient and friendly. I did notice that the outside of the car was a little bit dirty, but after it rained the next day, this didn’t really matter because I had to go get it washed anyway. Returning the car to Avis at the end of my trip was just as easy as picking it up had been.

If I had to rate the overall value that Avis provided me with in Dublin, I would give them a nine out of ten. With rental cars that are in good shape for a fair price and helpful customer support, there is really nothing negative that I can say about my Dublin rental car experience with Avis.

Taking Care of Car Rental in Dublin City

When I was planning my trip to Dublin City, one of the first things I did after I got my airplane ticket was to find a hotel with good reviews and a reasonable price. Once I had taken care of where I was going to stay, I was sitting around and thinking about what other arrangements I needed to take. Most of my thoughts were about packing and those sorts of activities, but all of a sudden I realized that I hadn’t thought about how I was going to get around once I arrived in Dublin City. I know it seems like an obvious thing to think about, but in all of the excitement I was experiencing about my trip, I had simply overlooked it.

After getting online and reading about other people’s experiences in Dublin City, I decided my best bet for transportation would be to get a car rental. Since it was an international trip, I was expecting to encounter some problems when I attempted to make my car rental for Dublin City online, but I was quite pleased at how smoothly not only the process went online, but also once I actually arrived in Dublin City!

I Chose Thrifty for My Dublin Car Rental

Filed under: Dublin Car Rental - 29 Aug 2008

When I found out that my Dad wanted to take a trip with me to Dublin for his birthday, I was extremely excited. My Dad and I have always had a good relationship, but due to the long hours I have been working over the last few years, we have not gotten to spend nearly as much time together as I would have liked. Therefore, when I found out we would have a full ten days to spend together in a foreign country, I knew that it would be a great experience.

Since the trip was for his birthday, I wanted to take care of as many of the travel arrangements as possible. One of the things on my preparation checklist was renting a car. When I initially started looking, I assumed that I would be renting from a company that I had never heard of before. However, it didn’t take me long to find out that Thrifty offers Dublin car rentals. Since I had used them before in the United States, I decided to chose them for my Dublin car rental. Their service in Dublin did not disappoint, and everything with the rental car went smoothly from beginning to end.
